Ingredient: pink peppercorn - berries from the Brazilian pepper tree (Schinus terebinthifolius) Country of Origin: Brazil or Madagascar A native to South America and related to mangoes and cashews and tpink peppercorns are not considered a true peppercorn (genus Piper). The shrubs grow well in wet environments and were introduced to Florida in the 1840’s but have since then become classified as invasive. Common use: Pink peppercorns are light and fluffy, almost hollow and have a citrus flavor. Their heat and fruity aroma make them suitable for a wider variety of dishes including fruit and in desserts. Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Please note, this product has been packaged in the same facility as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soy products.
