Rolled oats are a good source of ironĀ and dietary fiber and contain 7% DV of thiamine, which is a critical nutrient to energy metabolism. Interestingly, the soluble fiber in oats attaches to cholesterol molecules and transports them out of the bodyĀ rather than being absorbed into the bloodstream, which can help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. Oats also help you feel fuller longer, which can help with weight control. Quick oats are rolled thinner than regular (also known as āold-fashionedā) oats, so they cook more quickly without losing nutritional value.- Farmer-owned, fair trade, organic = fairDealā¢
